About Us

Birsa Viklang Utthan Avam Kalyan Samitee is a registered under Societies Registration Act-XXI of 1860 by the I. G. of Registration, Government of Jharkhand, Department of Registration, Ranchi vide, Registration No.- 159/2001-02, Dated-10-12-2001. It has been legally registration under Income Tax Act, 1961 under Section 12 A by the Income Tax Commissioner, Ranchi vide, Registration No.-ITC/RANCHI/TECH./VIII-215/12A/2009-10/611-13,Dtd.-09-08-2010. PAN No.- AAABB0317P, Registered under FCRA, Home Department, Govt. of India vide, Registration No.-337800217, Registered under PWD Act 1995 vide Registration No.-57/2016-17, Dtd.-10-11-2016, Social Welfare Directorate, Social Welfare, Woman & Child Development Department, Govt. of Jharkhand. Registered in NITI Aayog (NGO Darpan) vide Unique ID N0.-JH/2017/0157833.
It was foundation to provide comprehensive welfare service for the disabled person, deprived specially women & children including child labour, scheduled castes / scheduled tribes Including PTG’s other backward classes, socially & economically weaker section and persons for their development, empowerment and rehabilitation.

Organization has been gradually prospering and conducting social service activities in its operation sectors from the date of its creation and it has gained good public appraisals on its programme with supports of social service activists, professional & experts, staff and volunteers under people’s participatory approach system. Birsa Viklang Utthan Avam Kalyan Samitee has developed sufficient experience, expertise and infrastructure in the field of, Disabled Welfare, Horticulture Development, Farmers Training, Integrated Agriculture Development, Running BLESSING HANDS center for Special children, Disabled Empowerment, Orientation Training, Capacity Building Training, Rural Entrepreneurship Development Training, TSC under Prakalp, Awareness creation & Motivation Training, Medicinal Plantation, SHG’s Formation, & Training, Skill / Vocational Training, Rural Development, Child Development, Women Development & Empowerment, Environmental Awareness, Educational Improvement and Health & Family Welfare Programme in Dhanbad, Dumka, Ramgarh, Ranchi, District of Jharkhand State since its inception 19 years ago.

Organization programme are governed by the Executive Committee constituted as per the rules & regulation laid down in the constitution. Member of the Executive Committee are the distinguished citizen of Jharkhand State from different walks of life and have developed sufficient expertise in execution and management of various social welfare programme to response the deprived population. Organization has launched experimental and innovative programme to fill up the existing gap of need-based service after care final accessing & screening of needs and requirement of the suffering mass especially ( orthopedically / mentally handicapped), SC’s / ST’s including PTG’s, OBC, Socially & Economically weaker section, aged, minorities and Farmers. Organization has taken developmental initiatives in planning, Designing, Execution, implementation and monitoring of programme in the field of Disabled Welfare, Organic Farming, Horticulture Development, Farmers Training, Integrated Agriculture Development, Running Special Residential School, Disabled Empowerment, Orientation Training, Capacity Building Training, Rural Entrepreneurship Development Training, Awareness creation & Motivation Training, SHG’s Formation, & Training, Skill / Vocational Training, Rural Development, Special Child Development, in Dhanbad, Dumka, Ramgarh, Ranchi, District of Jharkhand State. Steps are on foot carry on specific programme of the Organization and widen the range of service for the noble cause of deprived population.

To strengthen Government hands in execution of disabled welfare programme, establishment of institution for disabled person, college, charitable hospital, skill-cum-vocational training center, old age home, medicinal / aromatics plantation, flowers cultivation, fruit plantation programme, creation of water recourse, prototype scheme, integrated watershed management programme, SHG’s formation & training programme, welfare / development / empowerment programme for women, children and Disabled person.

It further strives to establish a center of excellence on research, training and documentation.

  3. Birsa Viklang Utthan Avam Kalyan Samitee commits to promote gender equality and justice and empowerment of women in all spheres of life by facilitating appropriate mechanisms to ensure their rights, identity, dignity and independence.
